About us
Carcará is a blog by two developers, Gabriel and Caique. We build with Kotlin Multiplatform, and we write about the problems we run into, how we solve them, and the tools we open-source to help other developers.
How we work
We build real apps for Android and iOS, and Kotlin Multiplatform is how a two-person team keeps up: one shared codebase for the logic, native UI on each side. The app stays native where it counts, and we stop writing the same feature twice. Almost everything we publish here starts as a problem inside one of those projects.
What we publish
The blog is where we work things out in the open. Gradle setups that fought back, Ktor deep links, keeping iOS files sane inside a shared project, and the rough edges of mobile tooling that nobody warns you about. When a fix turns into something reusable, we clean it up and release it so the next person does not have to solve it again.
